50,000 people demand the halt of factory farming, genetic engineering and TTIP

Farmers and consumers together for a New Agricultural Policy on the demonstration today. 

Berlin, 01.17.2015 | On this Saturday was in  Berlin for the fifth time farmers, beekeepers together with consumers and consumers for a fundamentally different agricultural policy on the road. The Alliance calls on the federal government a clear rejection of the EU-US Trade Agreement TTIP, an effective legal protection of agriculture and food industry against genetic engineering as well as an immediate halt to the further expansion of mega-stables.A tractor convoy of about 90 tractors led  50 000 demonstrators.

Farmers protesting in Berlin

Today as part of the Green Week Berlin, I have been to one of the greatest protest, the farmers protest against genetically-modified agriculture.
I could see very creative people with magnificent banners, clothes, etc.  I loved it, woke up late but in 20 minutes I was surrounded by thousands of people who were energetic, up and yelling, dancing.
I found it hard to buy food afterwards...
